Research and Development

Our Development Section encompasses the Zhuji Packaging Spring Research Institute and Zhejiang Zhuji Shuangdi Technology Development Co., Ltd. Employing 30 professors, doctors and senior engineers, these facilities are equipped with 2 computer SGI graph workstations, a HP computer and server, CAD/CAM systems, sets of Pro/E20 software UG 15, and one spring machining center. Moreover, our factory is fitted with advanced spring production equipment (e.g. imported fully-automatic digital and computer-controlled spring twisting and compressing machines) and inspection means (digitally-controlled tension tester, harness tester and fatigue tester).

Products developed by this institute are widely used in the aviation, space and submarine industries. Manufacturing staff use a variety of CAD and CAM computerized programs for spring production, testing of raw materials and analog testing of products. Therefore, we have been able to upgrade all production processes, and conduct computerized network management of the entire enterprise.

In recent years we have developed 10 new products, of which 6 items qualified in provincial-level assessments, 5 filled domestic market gaps, and 1 was granted a patent (No.: ZL01 2 46373.6). Furthermore, our series have won the "Excellent products prize" awarded by the China National Ship Building Corporation, a golden "International Spark Symposium" prize, and "Top quality product prize" issued by the International Science and Technology Meeting. We have also been commended as a "Innovative Technology Demonstration Enterprise", "High-tech Enterprise", and provincial- and municipal-level "Progressive Sci-Tech Enterprise".
